Climate Action has recently made serious efforts to play a decisive role in the field of sport and sustainability, and the fact that Climate Action won two awards at the award ceremony of the Hungary sports conference of the 2023 Sport Forum indicates the right direction.
 

For this year's Sport Forum Hungary Awards, we submitted two applications and entered them in the "CSR Action of the Year" category. We are pleased and the quality of our activities is indicated by the fact that we won the "Silver Award" of the Awards with both of our applications. Our first application was the sustainability project of the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, LEGACY FOREST. This project was an example of how linking sport and sustainability can bring significant results. Legacy Forest has not only delivered unforgettable experiences to the World Cup crowd, but has also contributed and will contribute to environmental protection in the long run.
 

Our other, similarly dear project to our hearts was implemented together with the Telekom Veszprém Handball Team. In accordance with the cooperation between Climate Action Kft. and Telekom Veszprém, the TELEKOM VESZPRÉM FOREST – was born, which will be able to be viewed and followed by all interested and hikers by following the route of the Central Transdanubian Red Tour. 9000 saplings will be planted on the nearly 1 ha power area. The Club's commitment to social responsibility is exemplary, so they are at the forefront not only in sport, but also in the conscious protection of our society.
