Sport x Sustainability 

 

We planted a tree in the garden of the Puskás Stadium as part of the official sustainability project of the Modern Fives European Championship held in Budapest. It was a symbolic tree planting, in the framework of which we announced that we would plant saplings in an urban forest in Budapest as part of an official Climate Action project to ensure the sustainability of the event.

 

 

This also shows that sport can play a very strong role in popularizing this important topic, since awareness is one of the most important keys to success. This is also true for sports and climate protection.

 

Gábor Balogh, the president of the Hungarian Modern Fives Association, the president of the International Modern Fives Association, Klaus Schormann and Climate Action's green ambassador, the Olympic bronze medalist, contributed to the planting of the tree.
