National team-, and multiple hungarian champion footballer is the new green ambassador of Climate Action
Mihály Korhut is a hungarian footballer. With the team Debrecen he won the hungarian championship three times, the hungarian cup three times, the League Cup once and the Super Cup once.
Between 2014 and 2019 he was a regular member of the hungarian national football team, wearing the coat of arms jersey 22 times during his career. He also played against Portugal at European Championship in 2016. He was legionnaires in Greece and Israel, winning the latter championship twice with his team, Hapoel Beer Seva.
After spending years abroad, he returned to Hungary in 2020 to play for Debreceni VSC, then playing in the second division. As of 2022, he plays for Debreceni EAC, a regular player of the second division team.
As an athlete, Mihály has been characterized by a conscious lifestyle since childhood, so he considers environmental protection indispensable for our society. Mihály, as Climate Action Green Ambassador, will help us build and strengthen the relationship between sport and sustainability.
