Further development and big announcements expect from Climate Action in 2024
We spoke with the company's CEO, Dr. Gábor Gremsperger
Climate Action had an exciting and successful year in 2023. It has registered itself on the map of companies dealing with environmental protection and sustainability. He has gained numerous partnerships, and was an official partner of the World Athletics Championships in Budapest.
What is the secret of the company? Can we expect Climate Action again in 2024? We touched on these topics with Dr. Gábor Gremsperger, CEO. "Climate Action provides usable and valuable solutions in a segment that is currently developing very progressively. I expect the same in the period ahead. There will be many big announcements in 2024."
Climate Action built its guiding thread last year on building the relationship between sport and sustainability. Sportsmen and public figures have taken on ambassadorial positions to promote this. With the men's handball team of Telekom Veszprém a completely new project has been implemented, which will be joined by even more sports clubs and associations next year. What is the success of sport and sustainability?
"On the one hand, from my past as an athlete, and on the other hand, from the fact that sport is a conscious existence. To become a champion, one has to live very consciously. To live more sustainably, you also need to live more consciously. This is one of the greatest cohesion between the two themes. The other is that sport has incredible power on a global scale, both in terms of communication, diplomacy and networking."
In Hungary, from 2024, in accordance with ESG legislation, more and more companies will be affected by the implementation of mandatory sustainability projects. What sectors can count on the professional help of Climate Action?
"We can provide solutions in all sectors. There are priority sectors where we already have references. These include transport, construction, banking, IT and sports. We look forward to receiving additional sectors that can present us with new challenges."
