Tibor Nemcsek obtained his degree in mechanical engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics and his degree in environmental protection at the University of TU Braunschweig in Germany. During his professional career spanning several decades, he worked primarily in the field of waste management, both municipal and industrial. He was an active participant in the modernization of the hungarian waste management system, later he managed the R+D+I activities of the Company as Director of the Environmental Technology Business Unit of TVK Rt.

For the past 10 years, he has been the managing director of the most important player in the waste management industry, the state-owned NHSZ Kft. He is committed to achieving a circular economy, expanding waste to energy systems and implementing technological innovations. He is a member of several professional organizations involved in waste management and of the board of HOSZ.
