Zsombor Csuport, a geographer and environmental economist, obtained his degrees at ELTE and BME. A former competitive athlete, he currently deals with sports from a sustainability point of view. He sees local community responses as one of the possible solutions to contemporary environmental, social, economic and ethical challenges.

He perceives that the basic values ​​of sport have become entertainment industry products, so that they have been significantly pushed into the background in recent decades. As a consequence of this, it seems necessary to think about sustainability in relation to sport. Emphasizing core values ​​and reducing the obvious environmental impact of sport encourages you to try to make a difference, both through and in sport. Local sports organizations, professional clubs and associations can also play a big role in this.
